We are happy to cut the hair of children 5-years old or older, provided they can abide by a few simple guidelines.
Most importantly, children must be able to sit still for the duration of the haircut and follow basic instructions. This is essential for the barber to work, and is especially important for safety reasons. Our scissors are very sharp!
Parents are welcome inside for the consultation. But, we have found that a hovering parent interferes with the barbers’ ability to complete the haircut in a timely manner.
Please make sure your child’s hair is clean and combed before your appointment.
Please note that barbers use a mix of electric clippers and regular shears.
If a child is unable to abide by these guidelines and the haircut cannot be completed, we will have to charge the card on file for the full price of the haircut ($50).
